Our Story

Sammy has always been an entrepreneur at heart. After settling in London, Ontario and starting a few successful businesses, Sammy and his wife Vicky decided to pour their passion into sharing Greek food with their community. The idea of food trailers, which were already popular in Greece, intrigued them. Sam and Vicky began implementing this concept at local fairs and festivals subsequently travelling to various small towns as vendors with Conklin shows, the largest traveling amusement corporation in North America. People were quickly beginning to recognize and become fans of the Sammy’s Souvlaki brand!

Sammy's Souvlaki became a success and soon Sammy starting setting up permanent locations in London. There have been many locations around the city over the years serving countless hungry families, workers, students and late night revellers. Anyone who went to Western University or Fanshawe College quickly learned to hold back a little spending money for a souvlaki after the bars closed for their Sammy's fix! 

Over forty years later, Sammy's remains a London tradition!  Now we want to bring the Sammy's experience into people's homes and offer the Sammy's tradition to a wider audience with our first shippable product - "Sammy's Souvlaki Famous Seasoning".
